The garden is a place where locals can learn about all aspects of gardening from soil preparation to harvesting. Water-wise gardening is our specialty!

The Vision of the Chester Hill Community Garden is to be a place to build connections and friendships, promote health & wellbeing, cultural awareness and foster a sense of belonging to the community through active involvement in the garden.

The Mission of the Chester Hill Community Garden is to create a place where all people come together in a safe and discrimination free environment
- To grow vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers
- To learn through the development of ‘hands on experiences’ and skills
- To conduct community, environmental and educational activities
- To mentor inexperienced gardeners
